In partnership with the Peoples Library, the Willie Thrower Award Foundation is once again hosting the annual essay contest for the New Kensington Arnold and Burrell School districts for grades 3 through 8.
The topic of the essay is: Willie Thrower dreamed of becoming a professional football
player in the NFL. What is your dream?
The deadline to turn in completed essays is Monday, September 30, 2024.
Winners will receive a special gift and an invitation to read their essay at Peoples Library on Saturday, October 12th, 2024 at 1pm.
Please be sure to download and complete turn in the Parent or Guardian Permission Form below attached to the flyer along with the completed essay.
